Pictures From Edinbrugh

Here's my new room right after I moved in. It's got a nice view of the street outside of my apartment building. There's five of these rooms in our apartment, and then we share a common room with a kitchen, table and some chairs.
Here's a picture of the street from outside of my apartment building:
Once you walk down the street for about a quarter of a block, you get to a big park. Mom and John should recognize this, since I believe they went there while you were in Edinburgh. This is just a small portion of the park, though. Throughout the park, there's places set up to play soccer, rugby, croquet and they even have a small pitch and putt area for golf.

Here's a picture of Teviot, which is the big student union on campus. This is supposedly the inspiration for Hogwarts from Harry Potter. They even have the stairs that go in random directions like in Horwarts:

Next is a picture of a guy from USC and I in front of the entrance to the castle, with the Royal Mile directly behind us. The Royal Mile is the main tourist area. It connects the castle to the Queen's vacation home, I believe.

And lastly, Here's a picture of me being used for a demonstration during the Ghost Tour. The tour guide used me to demonstrate a way in which Edinburgh officials would test to see if a person was a witch. Apparently they would nail the alleged witch's hands to his or her knees and then drop the person into the bay. If the person floated, then they declared the person a witch. The Ghost Tour was quite exciting. We got to learn about various mass graves that are still under Old Town's streets, various mass deaths due to the plague and burning, and various paranormal activity.
